The attire can be described as "Beach Formal." The color scheme for the wedding is Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow. Women should wear light, elegant dresses like sundresses or maxi dresses in soft colors or floral prints. Think of breathable fabrics like cotton or chiffon. Pair the dress with simple jewelry and comfortable sandals, wedges, or heels. Men should go for lightweight suits or dress pants with a button-down shirt. Light colors like beige or light grey and brown work well. A tie is optional. Finish the look with loafers or boat shoes. At this moment we have not and do not plan to. I recommend looking into what is listed in the travel section or on Airbnb, Vrbo, etc. Book as soon as you can and preferably as close to the venue as possible! This is a popular tourist area and island traffic is no joke!

At this moment we have not reserved a shuttle service. There are options for hotels nearby and services you can look into for yourself.

There is some parking available near and on the estate. I recommended carpooling or utilizing a ride-share service.

The ceremony will be held near the water outside. It will most likely be hot and humid. There will be seating. The reception to follow will be indoors and outdoors. Please dress accordingly.

This is not an "adults only" wedding, but the only children allowed will be specified on the RSVP. Please reach out to the bride or groom for any further clarification.

For my family members and friends flying, RDU international is about 2.5 hours away. OAJ and EWN are regional airports with Delta and American Airlines services. Both are about 45-60 minutes away. Wilmington (ILM) is about 2 hours away as well. Beaufort, NC also has a small private airport called Michael J. Smith (KMRH) which is about 30 minutes away.
